WELCOME TO MISS DAY's MATH CLASS!!!

Hello I am Miss Day and I want to welcome you to the exciting world of Jr. High Mathematics!   I am very excited to have you in my class this year.  I hope you had a great summer!  I spent 7 weeks of my summer traveling across Asia..  I received a Lilly Foundation Research grant to meet with math teachers in 7 different countries to discuss teaching practices with some of the best math teachers in the world.  These countries included Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, China, South Korea and Japan.  I saw so many incredible things and learned so much!  I can't wait to share my adventures with you all this fall as we get to know each other.  We are going to have a great time and learn a lot!   I really care about each and every one of you and I am here to help you have a wonderful seventh grade year!
